My name is Tim Platt and I am an all around computing enthusiast, my interests are varied and include Mac OS X, Linux, Windows, enterprise IT infrastructure, software development – including web based , iPhone/iPod Touch/iPad, and just about any other topic related to computing!

I have been employed by Electronic Arts in the Information Technology department for over 6 years, specifically at the Tiburon studio in Orlando, FL.  I have been involved in many aspects of IT, including custom software development.  Technology is not just my job, but a hobby, and a passion.  This blog is mainly to allow me to record and share my findings in many of the areas I don’t get to work with on a day to day basis.
